  • a pinch of salt (optional, to taste)

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the bones and, if you want, scald them for 2—3 minutes in boiling water, then discard the water (helps for a cleaner soup).
  2. Put the bones in a pot with 1.5—2 liters of cold water.
  3. Add the carrot, onion and celery (peeled, but whole or coarsely chopped).
  4. Boil over low heat 2—3 hours (ideally as slowly as possible, without strong boiling).
  5. At the end, strain the soup.

How you consume it:

  • drink only the liquid (clear soup)
  • small portions (200—250 ml), every 2—3 hours
  • chew even the liquid (yes, it seems strange, but it helps digestion)

Important:

  • do not eat vegetables or meat yet
  • keep the rest of the soup for day 2

🕑 Day 2

👉 Objective: Introduction of light foods

What you eat:

  • bone broth (from day 1)
  • vegetables cooked in it (carrot, celery, a little of the onion)

👉 Basically, you go from liquid → to very soft and easily digestible solids.

Remark:
if discomfort occurs → return to day 1

Recipe (for 2 people)

Ingredients:

  • leftover soup from day 1
  • boiled vegetables in it
  • optional: 1 tsp olive oil

Consumption mode:

  1. You heat the soup.
  2. Remove the vegetables and lightly pass them with the fork or blender (they do not have to be perfectly fine).
  3. You add them back to the soup or, you eat them separately.

How you eat:

  • small portions
  • chew well even if they are soft
  • eat slowly

Important:

  • do not add meat yet
  • do not combine many foods
  • if you feel discomfort → go back to day 1

👉 Objective: transition to normal nutrition

What you eat:

  • cooked vegetables
  • soft-boiled egg
  • a little lean fish (optional)

Important:

  • without frying
  • without sugar
  • no large portions

Recipe (for 2 people)

Ingredients:

  • bone soup + vegetables (leftover)
  • 2 eggs
  • 100—150g lean fish (cod, shallots or trout)
  • a pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

  1. Boil eggs 5—6 minutes (slightly soft yolk).
  2. Boil or steam the fish (without oil, without frying).
  3. Heat the soup and vegetables.

How you eat:

  • Start with the soup
  • then the vegetables
  • then the egg or fish

👉 Don't combine them all in one big meal — keep portions small.
