  • clear bone soup or clear well-strained vegetable soup
  • water
  • a little salt, if you feel the need for electrolytes

  • small portions, 150—250 ml
  • every 2-3 hours

Ingredients

  • 500—700 g beef or chicken bones
    Ideal: bone marrow, rasol, knee or chicken cutlery
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 large onion
  • 50—70 g celery root
  • 1.5—2.5 liters of water
  • a pinch of salt

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the bones well.
  2. Optionally, scald them for 2—3 minutes and discard the first water.
  3. Put the bones in a pot of cold water.
  4. Add the carrot, onion and celery, peeled and coarsely chopped.
  5. Simmer over low heat 2—3 hours without strong boiling.
  6. Strain the soup very well.

  1. Heat the soup.
  2. Remove the vegetables and lightly mash them with the fork or blender.
  3. Add them back to the soup.
